What others are saying

5/5 Stars:  I’ve taken it out about 10 times and its held up pretty well! For a beginner, I think it’s a great pad. Foam is great and makes bailing less of a worry … I think its pretty easy to close and nice having a secure bottom for storage … It also feels great on your back when hiking to your destinations. All in all a great pad for a beginner like me and it doesn’t break the bank, compared to other pads. —Pavel Bereezyuk via Backcountry.com

4/5 Stars: Great pad. Just took it on a 4 day climbing trip to Joe’s and it held up well. It is more firm than the Mad Rock pad my boyfriend has used for a few years. I am not sure whether this will change with more frequent use, but I do like its current firmness. I am 5’5″ with a small athletic frame and this pad could not fit me more perfectly. Very comfortable and well placed straps. Also has a handle for quick and easy moving over a short distance between boulders … —Jessica B. via Amazon.com

5/5 Stars: Pleased with this purchase! Like the description states, this crash pad is small and light. It fits perfectly in the back of my Wrangler, and gets the job done. —prollie via REI.com

5/5 Stars: I’ve only used it a couple of times, but it works very well. Lightweight, easy to carry around, and the elastic cover ensures that your things won’t fall out while you’re walking down the trail. I like the way the pad folds, too, with the slanted crease; less awkward when you place it over rocks in the landing area. —E. Hinman via Amazon.com
