This spring, climbers Katie Lambert and Mason Earle headed to the South American destination of Colombia to explore the country’s quickly popularizing climbing areas.

Best known for the bullet-hard red sandstone, the La Mojarra region near Chicamocha Canyon National Park, offers an incredible cliff-band of overhanging sport routes that splay over a vast and beautiful valley. With routes that range from 5.8 to 5.14 and some of the world’s greatest coffee, there’s no wonder why climbers from all over the world are flocking to experience the unique Colombian climbing scene.
