Watch as Mayan Smith-Gobat and Ben Rueck team up with Chinese climbers, Liu Yongbang (Abond) and Xiao Ting, on an expedition to explore the climbing in Qingfeng Valley—situated at the boundary of Hunan province’s Zhangjiajie; China’s first and largest national park. This talented group was the first set of climbers ever granted permission by the Chinese government to climb the breathtaking walls of this nature preserve.

The landscape is unlike any place I’ve ever seen … It’s a place where no one has managed to climb before … Going to an entire area where the rocks have never been touched before is something you don’t come across every day.
