Hey everyone I’m Briana Blanchard! I can be found most weeks in the Red River Gorge. When I’m not outside you’ll find me in the gym or on my homewall with my husband and four-year-old son. I’m a board member for the Red River Gorge Climbers’ Coalition (RRGCC) and currently the chair of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. I have a passion for setting goals and trying hard, and also love volunteering my time conserving and preserving the lands we climb on!

La Sportiva Skwamas
As a boulderer and sport climber, the Skwamas are my absolute favorite climbing shoe. They’re aggressive for those tough steep boulders and deliver the right amount of control for those technical sport routes. If you’re looking for comfort and high performance, the La Sportiva Skwamas are where it’s at.
Arc’Teryx Women’s Cerium LT Jacket
This lightweight jacket is built for warmth! It is tailored with athletes in mind, as it has extra room up top for extra mobility. This jacket also emphasizes weight and packability so you never have to be concerned about it fitting in your pack. The Arc’Teryx Cerium LT Jacket will get you through the colder seasons no problem!
Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraws
As a big fan of Black Diamond products, I exclusively own their quickdraws. My preference is wiregate draws, and the Black Diamond HotWire quickdraws allow for smooth clipping and loads of functionality. They also come in awesome bright colors. If you’re looking for style and durability, look no further than these approach shoes. They’re breathable and sleek while providing excellent grip for technical terrain. Built for comfort all day long, the Five Ten Access Knit Women’s approach shoes are a favorite of mine.
Edelrid Tommy Caldwell Pro Dry DuoTec 9.6mm 70 Meter Rope
This dynamic rope is the best rope I have ever climbed on. Not only is the color awesome and looks great in photos, but this rope is also durable and works great with any belay device. On a single or multi-pitch climb, this rope won’t let you down.
Osprey Daylite Plus Pack
Whether you’re going to the gym or to the crag, this pack is a must-have. I can fit three pairs of climbing shoes, a chalk bag, chalk bucket, water bottle, brushes, and a sandwich in this pack, so needless to say when I’m climbing, it’s close by. Although not technically waterproof, this pack can also keep things dry. With awesome colors to choose from, if you’re in the market for a new day pack, the Osprey Daylite Plus is the one to go with.
