campfire- head gamesEvery time I have a project, on rope or off, I have to extract it from my mind. I have to be able to learn the moves, become acquainted with all the subtle intricacies, the dips and grooves and scars of the rock, and then … let it go. It’s not a natural process, to invest so much into something and then just release it to the universe. But often, it’s the only thing that’ll allow you to claim dominion over yourself. And therein lies the beauty of the process; you must find the balance between yourself and the rock, your mind and your body. And after that, the process repeats.
