Talented climber David Lama and veteran Conrad Anker achieved the first ascent of Latent Core in Zion National Park this past spring. The route, Latent Core, which Conrad had started to establish in 1988 with Doug Heinrich, had been left unfinished, even bearing remains of their gear on the wall. Watch David and Conrad’s 4-day adventure to complete the route, whose beginnings started almost 3 decades ago.
