This week we’re bringing you an epic family adventure that will leave you wishing that your parents were just a little bit cooler. Watch as sport climbing crusher, Edu Marin and his ultra strong 62 year-old father, Francisco “Novato,” team up to take on one of the hardest big wall routes in the world.

This father-son duo—clearly gifted with incredible climbing genes—tackle Panaroma (8c/5.14b), a towering face of 10 pitches found in the Dolomites. And to make things a bit more challenging, one of the 8b+ pitches’ holds have been broken off. We all love a good ole’ emotional journey now and then, and this epic adventure has its fill—just with the added bonus of incredible climbing footage on one of the world’s most amazing big wall climbs.

The project seems both feasible and impossible. It’s one of the toughest routes out there and climbing it with my dad is just indescribable.
