You can’t really have a complete conversation about rock climbing crushers without devoting ample appreciation for the achievements of Sasha DiGiulian. This 22-year-old rock master has made her mark in both the competition and outdoor scene with incredible successes, of which only a few include; Overall World Champion, three-time US National Champion, and becoming the first female American to climb the (unfathomably difficult) grade of 5.14d.

Impressive is truly an understatement when it comes to Sasha, given that her climbing makes up only one inspiring piece of her endeavors. Sasha balances her passion for climbing with a dedication to her academic life at Columbia University, where she studies Non-Fiction Creative Writing and Business. Moreover, she serves as the International Federation of Sport Climbing’s athlete representative, and an ambassador to numerous community organizations, including Up2Us, Right to Play, Women’s Sports Foundation and more.

To find out how she does it, listen to this interview hosted by Ben Schenck of MTNmeister—a podcast that presents interviews with the most inspiring, motivating, and influential athletes in outdoor sports. There also happens to be an extra special deal for Moja Gear and MTNmeister fans somewhere right around minute 33 …

You need to take chances. You’ll never know unless you try!
