Sasha DiGiulian Helps Design World’s First Rock Climbing Emoji

Yesterday, EmojiPedia—creators of the majority of emojis in the world—released the design for rock climbing emojis, which were inspired by a submission from Sasha DiGiulian, after she noted the need for one in a tweet:

Following the Twitter exchange, Sasha communicated with the folks at EmojiPedia for the design and submitted several photos to aid in its development.

These new rock climbing emojis are scheduled to release in June 2017 in a male and female version, along with customizable skin tones.

Which means, no longer will you need to text your friends and ask them if they want to go climbing … instead, you’ll just use these:
