Most climbers have heard of the iconic Peak District—a historic climbing destination in England that serves as home to some of the world’s most bold and heady climbs. Not only does the Peak District offer plenty of the world’s most sketchy trad routes—known specifically for their crash landings—but the Peak also holds an exceptionally difficult sport climbing mecca: Raven Tor in Millers Dale.

Raven Tor —a sport climbing crag that served as the testing grounds for talented sport climbers throughout the 80s and 90s—has no beginner climbs in sight (grades range from 7b – 9a+), and the crag features routes that remain unrepeated to this day. The challenging climbs here are finger-y, tech-y, and almost always deliver the same brutal weather elements, so classic to the area.
This climbing film follows several local and legendary climbers, as they battle through the area’s cold temps and microscopic crimps, to redpoint some of the UK’s hardest routes.
