For this week’s Friday Flick Pick, we’re showcasing a short film about talented sport climber, Dru Mack, and his deep appreciation for his home crag, the Red River Gorge.

For Dru, this sandstone pocket-paradise tucked deep in Kentucky marks the spot for some of his most powerful climbing memories and accomplishments.

This is where I tied a figure-eight for the first time. This is where I had my first beer. This is where I’ve learned the most.

Not only was the Red where Dru experienced his first climbing adventures as a young, driven mentee, but it has now also become a place where he supports other as a mentor.
