I don’t know what the hell you mean by training,

Says Madaleine Sorkin, a professional climber who prefers to put her hours in on real rock instead of in the gym.

While she does admit to training indoors from time to time, Madaleine primarily employs a train by doing approach; a strategy, which while for most of us wouldn’t work, has enabled her to climb some of the most challenging big wall routes in the world.
