Nothing screams bouldering season like temps dropping and days getting shorter …
And accordingly, MetroRock’s seventh year of the Dark Horse Bouldering Series starts this upcoming weekend, which means the country’s most talented and ambitious bouldering fiends are about to emerge onto the scene.
In this thrilling four competition series—made up of three qualifying rounds and a culminating Championship round—professional climbers will yet again battle the boulders to secure one of six spots for an opportunity to become the 2016 Dark Horse Champion.

Uniquely, each of the Dark Horse competitions in the series involves a redpoint round, which gives climbers an opportunity to secure a spot in finals and a chance to qualify for the Championship round.

You betcha! Whether you’re a youth, junior, professional, or recreational climber—the Dark Horse Series offers an opportunity for you to compete and experience MetroRock’s world-class setting.
And with the first round taking place on October 10, 2015 (this upcoming weekend!) it’s still not too late to register!
