Idaho Mountain Fest

If you don’t have plans for September yet, then you should be adding this event to your climbing calendar. Boasting four jam-packed days of incredible rock climbing, trail running, and of course partying—the Idaho Mountain Festival is one of the most yearned for outdoor events of the year.

Hosted at Castle Rocks State Park from September 17-20 near Almo, Idaho —which also happens to be located right next to the renowned City of Rocks —this Festival’s rock offerings are guaranteed to satisfy any sport, trad, or boulderer’s desires. Best-known for its unique granite domes, you’ll encounter some of the highest quality rock found in America.

And don’t worry if you’re dragging along friends who aren’t as obsessed with climbing as you are, they’ll have plenty of yoga, hiking, trail running, and mountain biking trails to explore. Should you or your friends desire a break from climbing, the Idaho Mountain Festival will also be hosting the King of the Castle 10K —a trail race that spans a majestic 6-mile course around and through Castle Rocks State Park.

Still need convincing?

Some of the other awesomeness you can expect as an attendee of the Idaho Mountain Festival include:

… we could go on and on, but instead, don’t take our word for it—see for yourself.
