After Pamela Shanti Pack’s (badass) first ascent of American Horror Story this past Monday—a 4-pitch 5.13 off-width in Indian Creek—we’re feeling in the spirit of off-widths. As such, this week we’re taking you on a virtual three-day tour of Moab’s most bone-crushing wide cracks with Pat Kingsbury, who also happened to be Pamela’s partner on the recent ascent.

Off-widths are brutal, in fact most deem them as being downright masochistic. Watch as Pat endures the freezing winter desert conditions during a break from his construction work to get dirty on some of the harshest off-widths around that few climbers would ever dare to attempt.
