The first climber featured in the video told me that when he started climbing, bouldering simply didn’t exist. This was his first time bouldering in Yosemite. And to my humor, he found a crack problem and taped up. Most people expect to see an epic ascent of the Yosemite big walls. However on this trip, we found little pebbles in Camp 4 that gave us a taste of the grade and difficulty that the park is known for. It points to the fact that the sport has evolved and whether you like it or not, it continues to.
