Cameron Hörst recently sent his first 5.14d/9a, a 50-foot route with tiny pockets called Moonshine, near Lander, Wyoming. In this video, Hörst shares some footage of his attempts, and of course, the send.
After missing the send on his first trip, Hörst came home for a couple of weeks and set up his home wall to train the exact moves from Moonshine.
Doing laps on the simulator sequence helped me dial in the body positions and learn to move faster through those strenuous moves.
Cameron Hörst is the son of the legendary climbing coach and author Eric Hörst.
